Co-parenting calendar

A co-parenting calendar for children with two homes

Each home keeps its own family calendar. The children’s events show up in both, so swimming, dentist appointments and school trips are in one place, and the rest of your week stays yours.

Free on iPhone and iPad. No card needed.

How it works

Two homes, one set of children, no group chat needed

  1. 01

    Set up your home

Create your family in parte. and add the children. When parte. asks how your household works, pick Two homes, one set of kids in the app, or Two households on the web.

  2. 02

    Invite the other parent

Send an invite while you set up, or later from Settings › Co-parenting. You choose which children to share.

  3. 03

    They accept

The other parent accepts the invite and has their own home in parte. Nothing is shared until they do.

  4. 04

The children’s events show in both homes

Anything for a shared child appears on both calendars. Either parent can add it or change it.

Privacy

What the other home sees, and what it doesn’t

Shared with the other home

  • Events for the children you’ve linked
  • Who edited a shared event, when, and what it was before (on the web dashboard)

Stays in your home

  • Your own events
  • Events for “everyone” in your home, like family dinner
  • Anyone in your home you haven’t linked, such as a partner or their children

Either parent can unlink a child at any time. After that, events stop showing in the other home.

Day to day

Less back and forth about who’s doing what

A history of every edit

If a time moves, the web dashboard shows who moved it and what it was before. No more “I never said 4 o’clock”.

School letters, sorted once

Either parent can send the letter or email to parte. on WhatsApp and say which child it’s for. Events for a shared child land in both homes.

A wall calendar in each kitchen

Turn a spare iPad into a wall display, so the children can see where they’re going to be.

What parte. isn’t

parte. is a family calendar, not a legal tool. The change history helps you both see what moved, but it isn’t designed as evidence for court, and there’s no messaging between parents. If you need court-ready records or monitored messages, use a dedicated co-parenting service.

Questions

The honest answers

Does the other parent need to pay?

No. Both homes can use parte. for free. Each home has its own plan, so if one of you upgrades, it doesn’t change anything for the other.

Can the other parent see my events?

No. They see events for the children you’ve linked. Your own events and your home’s family events stay with you.

Can we both change the children’s events?

Yes. Both parents can add and change them. Every change is recorded with who made it, when, and what it was before.

What if one of us wants to stop sharing?

Either parent can unlink a child at any time. From then on, events stop showing in the other home.

Is parte. suitable for court records?

No. The change history is there to help you both keep track, not to be used as evidence. If you need court-ready records or monitored messaging, use a dedicated co-parenting service.

Can grandparents or a childminder see the calendar too?

Yes. You can invite anyone into your own home’s calendar. Linking two homes is for children who live in both.

One calendar for the children. Two homes.

parte. is free for both parents on iPhone, iPad and the web.
