Which one to choose

Cozi does more lists. parte. does more of the typing for you.

Stay with Cozi if

  • You want shopping lists, a recipe box and meal plans in the same app as the calendar.
  • Someone in the family uses Android and wants an app, not a web page.
  • You type everything in yourself anyway, and the adverts don’t bother you.

Choose parte. if

  • Most of the dates arrive by email, letter or WhatsApp, and you’re tired of copying them in.
  • You want the calendar on the kitchen wall. parte. turns a spare iPad into one, for free. How to set it up.
  • You’d rather not see adverts, or pay a yearly fee to stop them.
  • The children live across two homes. parte. links them.
Switching from Cozi

You don’t have to move everything on day one

Start with what’s coming up. The calendar fills itself as the emails arrive.

Forward the next school email

parte. pulls out the dates and adds them to the right child.

Type in the regular clubs

Write it the way you’d say it: “Leo has football every Saturday at 9”.

Connect Google or Outlook

If work or family events live there, connect them in Settings and they appear alongside the rest.

Questions

The honest answers

Is parte. free like Cozi?

There’s no Android app yet. Anyone on Android can use parte. in a web browser through the dashboard at dash.parte.app.

What about Cozi vs Skylight?

Cozi is an app, Skylight is a screen with an app. parte. is an app that also turns an iPad into a wall screen. See parte. as a Skylight alternative.
